When I opened the box the other day, it was bone dry despite being exposed to water from rain and the spa. This proves that the box has a good capacity to hold electrical components and is safe to use.
I had enough space for 2 switches and the main power entry point thanks to the ample size of the electrical box.
I tried to stuff it into the groove for 10 minutes, but it will have a seam at the ends joint. If mounted flange down, it will be waterproof due to lips. Otherwise, it is not waterproof.
