The replacement went well and the Feit tubes work with the Robertson ballast.
The lights work perfectly with no interference and are cheaper than other options.
The ballast size is the same as the Home Depot fixture, so it fit perfectly.
I had to make modifications to mount the new T8 eballast to the fixture and modify the wiring per manufacture instructions. After that, the fluorescent light fixture worked perfectly well.

I attached the ballast to the fixture using pop rivets as it was a tight fit under the center cover.
To install the ballast, I had to cut the wires to the old ballast, remove it, and then connect the new ballast using 3 wire-nut connectors as per the diagram on the label.
