About Philips Norelco Shaver 3800, S3311/85
69% were satisfied with the battery life, while 31% weren't
I forgot to charge my razor for a month and it still shows 3/3 battery life, which is very convenient.
The electric razor lasts for several weeks on a charge. I have been careful not to recharge it until it gets down to one bar.
The battery life seems okay. I regularly took the old one on month-long trips without the charger, using it every day.
The electric razor's battery life is terrible and needs to be charged every three days.

65% liked the blade type, but 35% were disappointed
I find the electric razor easy to use for getting a close shave without irritation in facial nooks and crannies.
The foil type of electric razor cannot be sharpened and new blades can be expensive, which is a negative aspect.
Older Norelco shavers had up to 45 easily replaceable cutter blades.
After 3 months of usage, my blades stopped working and one is spinning crazily making a loud noise.
67% highlighted the cleaning and maintenance
My electric razor's battery lasts for 3-4 uses before needing to be charged.
Cleaning the electric razor is easy and it is wet/dry, which means I can rinse the heads under water while shaving with gel, etc.
67% appreciated its ergonomic design, while 33% did not
I think this is Norelco's best design for getting a close shave with an electric razor.
The electric razor design is lacking with specific issues like a squared off head, shallow angle between the handle and head, fat and angular handle, and the power button being in the way of the thumb. It feels like the company deliberately messed up the ergonomics to avoid competition with more expensive models.
The electric razor's ergonomic design is not up to the mark. It is not as ergonomic as previous shavers and the rubber gripping surfaces could be better and cover a larger area.
I found the shaver to be uncomfortable compared to the Smarttouch XL, which has a better contoured shape. Overall, it felt like a cheap plastic imitation.
67% found the shaving head flexible, but 33% raised concerns
The 5D shave head requires less effort and digging to cut.
The Norelco 3800 has 5D Pivot & Flex heads that follow the contours of my face and provide a quick shave without needing to repeatedly shave the same spot.
On smooth surfaces, the tilting multi heads work well, but not around the jawline.
The squared off plastic points push against the inside edge of my ear, preventing the shaver from getting close.
