I have no opinion on the battery life or travel suitability of the electric razor as I do not use it away from home and it stays in its charging/cleaning station when not in use.
My experience with the product is that the battery life is poor, lasting only for one shave and sometimes not working even when charged.
I had a series 7 for two years and the battery leaked, damaging the razor innards.

The cleaning mechanism of the shaver works, but not very well. If you pop the head blades off and run it under tap water, it cleans well. However, even after using the mechanism for cleaning, bits of hair are still found when running the head and blades under water.
