About Instant Pot RIO Wide Plus, 7.5 Quarts 35% Larger Cooking Surface
Overall Feedback:
73% positive
71% liked the large capacity
I received the RIO as a Christmas gift and have been testing it over the last month. It's a great addition to my family of six and more versatile than the regular 8-quart pot.
This 7.5 qt wide Instant Pot is brilliant. The wide, shorter pot makes it easy to use all around. I can easily saut a chopped onion in it without hitting the side walls and burning myself.
78% praised for its fast cooking times
The electric-pressure-cooker quickly cooks meals and is a lifesaver on several occasions.
79% liked how easy it was to clean
The electric-pressure-cooker is super easy to use and clean, and it offers amazing time savings and quality of the prepared items.
After cooking egg bites, the inner pot was dry after releasing the steam, indicating that it is easy to clean.
82% found it easy to operate
The wide, shorter pot is easy to use all around. I can easily saut a chopped onion in it without hitting the side walls and burning myself. It fits odd-shaped foods, like ribs. It makes it so much easier to use when I dont have to fight the height to use the pot.
With a little bit of practice and attention to the instructions, I found the product to be versatile and fun to use.
68% appreciated the multiple safety features
The Rio Wide has a safer steam release mechanism than any other mechanism I have seen.
My favorite feature is the sealing/venting switch and how quiet it is when it releases, indicating safety features related to sealing and venting in the electric-pressure-cooker.
I received the RIO as a Christmas gift and have been testing it over the last month. It's a great addition to my family of six and more versatile than the regular 8-quart pot.
I use the electric-pressure-cooker for multiple purposes like rice, beans, chicken, spaghetti sauce, yogurt. It is easy to use with preset timers and handy buttons like beans, meat, rice, etc.
The Instant Pot RIO has a wider capacity, making it more versatile for steaming dishes and cooking a rack of ribs than my usual 6qt.
