About ENERTWIST Cordless Electric Carving Knife
Overall Feedback:
93% positive
64% liked the adjustable slicing thickness, but 36% found it difficult to adjust
The new cordless unit has a better safety lock design, but it may be tedious at first and take some getting used to. This design challenge may be too annoying for those who only use an electric knife a few times a year.
I suggest holding the knife parallel to what you are cutting instead of at a 60-degree angle as suggested on the product page.
87% liked the high-quality blade
It works very well for bread, turkey breast, and tenderloin.
I can cut perfectly straight and even slices of our softest bread.
92% liked the convenient cord storage, but 8% found it too small
The design of the electric knife is poor as the trigger is opposite the blade release on the bottom, which can lead to accidental injuries while using it.
88% praised for its effortless cutting, while 12% were dissatisfied
I noticed poor cutting performance when the knife caused cuts in my acrylic cutting board.
86% found it easy to clean, while 14% struggled with food residue
Blade removal is easy, but the safety feature is overdone. The release button needs to be depressed deeply for the blades to come out.
I can easily wash the knives by pressing the two buttons on the side to release them when finished.
I faced some difficulty while cleaning and storing the blades of the electric knife, but I was able to get them on and off without much trouble.
It is not possible to rephrase as it is already in first person.
74% found it comfortable to hold and use, but 26% found it too heavy
The safety lock design of this cordless unit is better than the older corded unit, but it seems tedious at first and I will need some time to get used to it.
I find the handle uncomfortable to hold and inserting the blades is difficult.
69% appreciated the quiet operation, while 31% found it too loud
The electric knife is a tad loud, but it does not bother me.
After just one loaf of bread, the product started to slow down and got hot to the touch.
91% liked its fast and powerful performance
On a full charge, the power is fine and the serrated blades came sharp.
89% appreciated the safety features
The electric knife's safety feature is great with the 30 second delay, preventing accidental cuts.
The new cordless unit has a better safety lock design, but it may be tedious at first and take some getting used to. This design challenge may be too annoying for those who only use an electric knife a few times a year.
When cutting bread, I have to draw the knife back with each slice because the angle of the blade makes it difficult to cut flat and a bit still remains attached.
I was able to cut a full size foam mattress pad into several cushions with ease, even though I didnt know what I was doing. I measured and marked the foam and was able to stay on my marker lines while cutting. The electric knife worked like an absolute charm and I was able to cut quickly, accurately and evenly.
I tried to cut cold chicken with the knife, but it couldn't get through the meat.
