When using the electric-induction-range, the burner only gets hot when a pan is on it. Additionally, the burner cools down quickly when the pan is removed, allowing it to be touched without feeling any heat.
The power of the stove is disappointing as it only reaches a maximum of 1250W, despite displaying 1800W. I tested the same pot with water on my other portable stove and it easily reached 1800W.
