82% were impressed with the heat response time, but 18% weren't
The electric-induction-range has a rapid response when adjusting the heat, similar to gas but without the visible flame.
It takes about 60 seconds to boil 8 ounces of water, and the time may vary depending on the pan used.
After a certain period of time, the unit stopped providing heat even though the controls indicated that it was heating the pan. Additionally, cooking was extremely slow and seers were not working.
I compared the speed of heating of this electric-induction-range with my high-end Diva induction built-in cooktop. The speed of heating is not quite as good as the built-in cooktop, but water still comes to a boil way faster than it would using an electric element.
80% found the heating efficient
This unit efficiently heats up water in a kettle, heating 3 cups in 30 seconds, better than any microwave oven I've had.
The electric-induction-range is very efficient in heating up water in a kettle. It can heat up 3 cups in just 30 seconds, which is better than any microwave oven I have ever used.
65% found the safety features helpful
The cooktop has a safety feature where it turns off automatically after a set time.
There is no need to worry about Carbon monoxide poisoning.
The electric-induction-range is safer than gas and does not pose any danger.
The risk of fire from grease fires, etc. is almost non-existent.

82% liked the temperature settings, yet 18% were disappointed
For precise temperature control, I suggest using temperature settings like 350 and 400 for recipes.
I am forced to choose from a limited amount of preset temperature settings as there is no option to set a custom temperature.
I found that the product lacks accurate temperature control.
The temperature setting does not correspond with actual temperature very well.
73% appreciated the cookware compatibility, while 27% faced problems
I was able to find compatible cookware easily by looking for products with a magnetic base and reasonable price.
I am limited to using only a cast iron skillet as the electric-induction-range is not compatible with aluminum pans.
I purchased a new cookware set labeled as induction compatible, but it did not work with my induction top.
My more expensive skillet did not work with the electric-induction-range as it was not magnetic.
