The heat control and distribution on this grill/griddle are excellent, better than any electric one I've had before.
It takes some time to warm up, but it grills non-marinated meats and vegetables/mushrooms perfectly.
At the highest heat setting, the flat griddle plate warps badly and doesn't make contact with all the heating elements, resulting in uneven high temperature.
I have complained that the electric-griddle does not cook evenly, resulting in raw chicken. Additionally, the griddle plate rarely sits perfectly flat, causing uneven heat distribution.

I noticed that the product makes some noise while operating. I am not sure what causes it, but I assume that the pieces get rigid when they are cooled off and expand while in use, which causes the unit to make noise from the expansion.

I am dissatisfied with the non-stick surface of the electric-griddle. The first eggs I cooked on the griddle resulted in a burned on mess and the nonstick coating turned into a dry leather-like finish that now sticks to everything.
The electric-griddle I used was not non-stick and did not heat evenly.
