About VEVOR OEM Upgraded Condenser Fan Motor
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
86% liked the adjustable speed feature, although 14% found it limited
I can adjust the motor by reversing the direction of rotation. This can be done by unplugging the connector and re-plugging it with yellow to orange and orange to yellow.

I reversed the motor direction from the default by hand spinning my blade and feeling which way it had to turn to blow the air the correct way. Then, I referenced the diagram on the motor to set it and did not have to redo it.
The new motor studs were spread apart more than the original motor, but the fan grate had holes for it, so we must have standardized them.
85% appreciated the easy installation process, but 15% struggled with it
The installation process was pretty easy and the motor was no issue. However, I faced some issues with the rusted screws in my 15 y.o. condenser unit. One may need some wire ties and a way to mount the capacitor if the old unit was a dual-rated cap type. I used some galv. pipe strap and it should be fine for 30 years or so.

80% liked the low maintenance requirements, but 20% found it difficult to repair
I had to extend the ground wire of the new motor because it was too short for my application.
I have provided maintenance tips for electric-fan-motors, including making a drain loop/droop on the wires before connection points and using a 5 mF capacitor.
I advise making a drain loop/droop on the wires before reaching their connection points for maintenance and repair of electric-fan-motors.
I cannot do future lubrication maintenance as there is no oil port.
76% appreciated the quiet operation
I compared the noise level of the old motor with the new one and found that the new motor is much quieter. I even uploaded a video to demonstrate the difference.
I compared the noise level of the old motor with the new one and found that the new motor is much quieter, especially in person.
87% found it to be reliable and long-lasting, while 13% experienced frequent breakdowns
The capacitor is rated at 5 mF and it's recommended to make a drain loop/droop on the wires before they reach their connection points.
I am uncertain about the long-term reliability and durability of the electric fan motor due to the lack of a weep port. However, I expect the motor to outlast the rest of the system.
77% appreciated the built-in safety features, though 23% thought they were inadequate
I ran a jumper off it to my ground point, indicating that the product has safety features related to electric-fan-motors.

I connected a jumper to the ground point. It's unclear if it's related to the safety features of the electric-fan-motors. More context is needed to determine if it's experience-rich.
Discharging capacitors is a safety concern and should only be done by someone who is comfortable with such tasks and knows how to do it safely.
87% praised for its high-powered performance
The electric-fan-motor installs easily and runs smoothly and quietly.
I am getting cold air in the house and the electric motor is working well.

I faced issues with the electric-fan-motor when I first installed it on the existing bar where the old one was mounted. It would not spin and just hummed. I put washers on the threaded studs to create a space, then put in the mounting bar and secured with nuts to make it work. After that, it works great and is nice and quiet.
The new fan motor is very quiet and the wiring matched up perfectly.
