I highly recommend the electric fan motor, especially if you have an old one that is outdated and you have no idea how to adjust the settings manually. My old electric fan motor would go off and on almost randomly.
I can control the fan by turning it on/off, adjusting the speed, and setting schedules based on temperature and humidity levels.

I found that the first fan had a broken rivet in the bracket and the second fan had a completely broken bracket, indicating a concern for maintenance and repair of electric-fan-motors.
I had to replace the electric-fan-motor within a year of installation. After speaking with the tech person, it was determined that the motor was the issue. The company only sent the motor and I had to pay an electrician for installation. The company did not cover any labor costs, which is unacceptable for such a short period of time.
I discovered that the humidity sensor was degrading over time and not activating the fan until the humidity in the attic was outlandish, resulting in new mold growth.
I received and returned two fans because of broken mounting brackets. The brackets are thin, bendy, and attached by three rivets. The first fan had a bracket with a broken rivet, and the second fan had a bracket completely broken off.
