The flexible tips are washable and reusable. They get deep into my ear canal just before the ear drum, twist, pull out and clean.

I use two stainless tools to scrape the walls of my ear canal on the out and middle regions. Then, I use the soft silicone tip while rotating the tool in a drill-like fashion.
I was annoyed by Q-tips and wanted an effective method to remove ear wax. I found it in this product. The flexible tips are washable and reusable and they get deep into the ear canal just before the ear drum, twist, pull out and clean. These tips are effective enough for me that I haven't used the other included tools.
