I suggest rolling the earplugs lengthwise to a point, pulling up on the top of the ear, and gently inserting the plug for maximum comfort. The foam will expand and the sound will become progressively quieter until it is fully sealed.
I ordered the 32dB Foam Earplugs to reduce noise while operating the tractor. However, compared to the older 29dB earplugs, these new earplugs barely help reduce the noise level, leaving me quite disappointed with the product.

PROPLUGS earplugs do not provide adequate sound suppression. The 3M Taperfit 2 earplugs are more effective.

I have found that the earplugs have minimal noise reduction. I can still have a conversation with normal speaking voices while wearing them and may even pass a hearing test with them on.
