About Soundcore by Anker Space A40 Auto-Adjustable Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds
74% appreciated the comfort and fit, although, 26% disliked
The earbuds are comfortable for sitting, walking around, or short higher intensity activity, and decently comfortable for extended wear.
I found the earbuds very comfortable to wear due to my smaller ear canals.
I find the earbuds uncomfortable to wear as they tend to slip out of my ears easily.
69% found it easy to connect, while 31% encountered issues
I have taken the earbuds on the road for a couple of days without a charging cable and have not had any issues.
The initial Bluetooth connection with a new device can be wonky.
I experienced connectivity issues while walking or running in both San Francisco and New York City.
I have experienced poor quality and connectivity issues with the microphone, which is a known issue faced by multiple people.
74% were satisfied with the controls, although 26% found them confusing
Anker does a great job with audio devices and the app provides great control over compatible devices.
I customized touch commands on the intuitive accompanying app to raise/lower volume, skip ahead or back, and play/pause.
I find the touch controls finicky and the hood hits them, causing the track to skip forward or the volume to change.
The app allows customization of tap controls on each earbud, but some useful actions like Mute/Unmute Mic or Volume Up/Down are missing. Adding these options to the tap control settings would be really useful.

73% liked the durability, yet 27% experienced wear and tear
The build quality of these earbud-headphones is solid and Anker always does a great job in that regard.
The battery life is excellent. I have only had to charge the case a couple of times in the past 3 weeks.
In noise cancellation mode, the left bud produces an ear splitting squeal.
I experienced quality control issues with the earbud-headphones and they did not last long.

70% liked the noise level, but 30% found it bothersome
I can choose from multiple noise-cancelling modes and turn it off if it's uncomfortable.
The earbuds effectively tune out most of the noise, leaving behind only a dull clatter.
The noise cancellation on these earbuds is mediocre at best. I have used them in various settings including walking on a busy city street, working around yard machinery, and being in an airplane. The yard machinery completely overwhelmed the noise cancellation.
I experienced an ear splitting squeal from the left bud in noise cancellation mode, which is a common issue according to Google search results. The left bud in noise cancellation mode often produces an ear splitting squeal, as I experienced and Google search results confirm.

79% liked the sound quality, however 21% expressed dissatisfaction
I find the earbuds great for music with a lot of bass but not good with highs.
The audio quality is average and not special. I compared it with another set of earbuds I had for half the price and it's kind of worse than that.
