About Sony DVPSR210P DVD Player (Progressive Scan) (Renewed)
Overall Feedback:
65% positive
83% highlighted the audio performance, however 17% didn't
I confirmed that the audio quality is excellent, especially the tight bass response, after listening to multiple CDs.
The audio cord that came with the DVD player had an issue with audio. It kept making a high pitched noise while audio was playing.
83% liked the connectivity options
I was not disappointed with the DVD player as I was not expecting a fancy one, even though it does not have an HDMI connection.
82% found playback features helpful, yet 18% encountered issues
I have not seen the unique feature in any other DVD player where it remembers where it left off even if you remove and play another DVD and put the first one back in.
I love the feature of the DVD player that allows me to pick up at the point in the film where I have stopped it or removed the DVD.
I have mixed feelings about the dvd-player feature that keeps track of where you are on the disk even if you take it out, play another one and then put the first one in again, as it usually resumes play a considerable time prior to where it was when you took it out.
The DVD player takes about a minute to load every time I turn it on, even when I stop in the middle of a show. It's very annoying.
78% were satisfied with playback formats support, but 22% weren't
I am unable to play any disks on the DVD player, including retail movies and my own burned versions in different formats.
83% praised remote control functionality, despite 17% faced challenges
Playing a disc from start to finish is not an issue, but it is tough to use FF, Stop or Pause features without the remote.
I faced issues with the HDMI adapter that came with my DVD player and had to use the RED, White and yellow cables to connect to another TV in my home.
