About Panasonic DVD Player DVD-S700
Overall Feedback:
91% positive
72% liked the connectivity options
I recommend using an HDMI cable for the best connection with an HD widescreen television, even though the DVD player doesn't come with one.
73% were satisfied with playback formats support, but 27% weren't
The DVD player only supports FAT formatted drives, not NTFS, so playing anything HD over USB is not possible.
72% praised remote control functionality, despite 28% faced challenges
I am facing difficulty in using the remote control functionality of the dvd player. I have to guess the buttons to push blindly on the remote. If the dvd player had a simple digital led display, it would be a functional part of my studio. Without that, it is too much guessing button pushing and wasted time.
The remote control has tiny buttons that are awkward to use. To fix this, I need to go through the settings.
71% were impressed with size and design, while 29% weren't
The DVD player is small and light, but the thin plastic pads on the bottom let it slide around when using a heavier HDMI cable.
The sound quality of my DVD player is not as good as other players I have used. Despite having excellent speakers on my television, it always sounds a bit tinny and flat.
the DVD player is poor when playing CDs. I tried all the audio options and even changed the RCA cables, but the quality is still poor. I swapped it out with an older CD player and it played much better.
