The sound quality of my DVD player is not as good as other players I have used. Despite having excellent speakers on my television, it always sounds a bit tinny and flat.

I have noticed that the HDMI output doesn't format the video as expected. When playing 4:3 ratio video, I expected the player to detect the resolution of the TV and the resolution of the video and have an option to put black bars on the side so that everything isn't stretched. However, this player doesn't do that, resulting in DVDs with a format other than 1080p looking pretty bad on this player.

I found the remote control of the DVD player fantastic, easy to use and setup. It works well with TVs and is a good value for money.
The remote control of this DVD player is weak and only works when I am just a few feet or less away from the player.
Without a working remote, navigating menus is difficult as there is no other way to move the cursor.
