I must enable the power switch on the front of the DVD player before the power button on the remote will function.
I faced a problem with the remote control functionality of the DVD player. The remote kept turning off the sound bar every time I hit the power button or the pause button. I had to manually power down and restart the sound bar every time I used the DVD or multiple times if I used the pause button.
The player worked fine until the remote went out. It only has buttons for power, play, stop, and open/close.
