About Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
77% liked the weight, whereas 23% found it too heavy
The Dutch oven is not recommended for someone who will struggle with the weight, as it is very heavy even when empty.
77% liked the versatility
I love the versatility of the pot. I have used it in the oven and on the stove top, made small amounts of broth, soups, and even roasted meats in it.
The Dutch oven is durable and versatile, allowing me to cook in both the oven and on the stove top, whereas my old pan was only for the stove top.
76% highlighted the size and capacity
I love the size of the pot. It's perfect and not too heavy. I didn't want a big, bulky pot that would make too much food.
78% highlighted the heat retention
The Dutch oven takes some time to heat up, but once hot, it does a great job of retaining and radiating heat.
With the lid on, the iron retains heat and keeps the soup hot for at least an hour after turning off the flame.
After simmering for 4 hours, I found that the Dutch oven has amazing heat retention.
76% found it easy to clean
The pot is easy to clean. After braising, the insides appeared brown but when I cleaned it later, everything wiped off easily without scrubbing.
I found the cleaning process easy with warm, soapy water. The stuck parts came off easily.
Cleaning the Dutch oven is easy with warm water, soap, and a sponge thanks to the enamel.
Cleaning the Dutch oven is easy with the suggested method, even though it's not dishwasher safe.
75% appreciated the durability, although 25% had issues
The product has slight darkening on the outside due to intense 450F heats, but there is no cracking or chipping of the enamel.
I have been using the Dutch oven for years and it has withstood tough use without showing any signs of quitting.
After three weeks of cooking in this dutch oven, I have not faced any issues related to durability.
I advise being careful while soaking or refrigerating as the edge of the lid and pot are still exposed cast iron and will rust.

76% liked the aesthetic design, yet 24% thought it unattractive
I really like the white interior of the pot. The food looks visually nicer against the white background, even though I never thought that food was hard to see in a silver-colored pot.
I am disappointed with the design and aesthetics of the pan, particularly the large and ill-placed logo on the front. It will be embarrassing to place the pan on a wooden trivet with fixins.
