  • Question & Answers

    Q:

Is this tape made from the same Tyvek material as the wrap that is made from it?

    A:

I used the tape to seal the joints between the cork base underlayment and the glue board in my basement walls and concrete floors, as well as to install snap and click engineer hardware floors.

    Q:

Is it possible to get it without the print on it?

    A:

At this time we don't offer this product without the tyvek logo.

    Q:

Does it stick to foamular insul-boards?

    A:

I don't know about XPS boards, but its the stickiest tape I have ever used, and when doing siding on home, I used Tyvek barrier, and I think it will be here in a 100 years.

    Q:

Can you paint over the tape with Tyvek? I need to tape pieces together to create a mural.

    A:

I don't remember how he attached the Tyvek to the walls, but he often paints irregular shapes that overlap.

    Q:

Does this tape have a bit of stretch?

    A:

If the surface is dry, Tyvek Tape may be used as a temporary fix on rafts and kayaks.
