I have been using this duct-tape for 4 years now and it doesn't have glue type adhesive. I used another brand before for years but it didn't last as long as this one, only about 2.5 years. To activate it, you must stretch it while wrapping and it will seal anything pretty much.
After some time, the tape will fuse to itself on the overlapped parts and form a nearly perfect seal from rain and snow, dust and dirt.
The tape has been on the roof for 5 years and is still holding strong even after freezing winters and hot summers.
The tape held tightly and easily conformed around the slip nuts with its 1.5 inch width.
