About Honey-Can-Do Metal Folding Drying Rack, X-Frame Design
Overall Feedback:
76% positive
69% liked the adjustable height settings, but 31% found it limited
The drying rack cannot hold wet clothes as the lines buckle as soon as they are hung on it.
The connectors between the wire and the frame easily slide out of their holders on both corners, including during the process of folding and unfolding.
70% praised the high-quality construction, but 30% found it flimsy
I am pleased with the product, but unsure if it would be suitable for extremely heavy wet clothes like big mens overalls.
The welding at the frame tubing joints looks much improved compared to the same rack manufactured in 2014 by Polder.
The wires are flimsy, but it's manageable as long as I don't have lots of pants and towels.
The wire cannot hold heavy items like jeans or sweaters.
The plastic pieces holding the rack in place at the corners start to bend even with the slightest amount of clothing on the rack.
The drying rack is fine for light items, but it bends when jeans and towels are placed on it.
75% appreciated the space-saving design
I love the iron table folding design because it has more width and space compared to the Amazon Basics rack.
71% praised the stable design, while 29% found it is not stable
I have been using this drying rack for a month now and have used it 6 days outside near the ocean with humidity and salt in the air. So far, there are no issues with rust or signs of rust. It is not the most durable of products but I have had no issues with toppling over or not being able to bear the weight of clothes I hang on it.
The drying rack kept falling apart every time I tried to put it back together.
After 30 days of occasional use, the plastic connector broke.
Every time I try to unfold the drying rack, it falls apart due to its mechanism.
The legs of the drying rack can fold out as well as in, which helps it fit over a bigger bathtub. But, this feature comes with the drawback of losing the ability to stack the racks.
I discovered a tip on how to adjust the drying rack. Simply pull the white bar out of the small black pocket on the gray bars on both sides and it will fold itself automatically.
