About Wool Dryer Balls Organic XL 6-Pack by Ecoigy, Reusable Natural Fabric Softener for Laundry
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
74% found it easy to clean
I refresh the wool balls with oil every three to four loads of laundry and let them rest a bit before using. This shows that the wool balls are easy to clean and can be easily refreshed.
72% praised the lint reduction, but 28% didn't notice a difference
I found that using wool balls removed more lint and pet hair, even on my black cotton under shirts. They removed about 95% of the lint compared to tide dryer sheets which only removed about 75%. The difference was noticeable.
For knit yoga pants and tee shirts, the dryer balls did not work well and resulted in a lot of white lint.
73% praised the long-lasting performance, but 27% desired more
I have been using the dryer balls for 6 months and wanted to wait to write a review to see how they performed after real use.
I loved the dryer balls, but they did not last several years as claimed. I had to replace them every few months, or they start coming apart, and then lint pieces get all over everything.
77% praised for reducing dryer noise, but 23% didn't
The dryer balls make a bit of sound, but it's not enough to keep me awake at night and is less than the sound of a zipper hitting the side of the dryer.
The product makes a bit of noise while being used in the dryer, but it's not that bad.
The dryer balls make a lot of noise in the dryer.
The dryer balls left wool on my laundry and caused the worst static ever.
82% were impressed with the odor 18% weren't
I have complained that the wool balls smell like a dirty wet dog.
72% liked the softening ability, but 28% didn't
My husband's work clothes, which were stiff and had burn holes, came out soft after using the dryer-balls.
The dryer balls only moderately soften/reduce static and make a lot of noise.
I find the dryer-balls to be not soft at all.
76% liked the static reduction, but 24% experienced issues
I have decided to return the product as it makes a lot of noise in the dryer and only moderately softens/reduces static.
I refresh the wool balls with oil every three to four loads of laundry and let them rest a bit before using. This shows that the wool balls are easy to clean and can be easily refreshed.
I found that wool dryer balls are reusable, eliminating the need for dryer sheets and reducing packaging waste.
