Overall Feedback:

I recommend drying the dryer balls with a wet towel a few times before use to prevent loose wool fibers from shedding onto the laundry. The wet towel helps to release the fibers.
92% praised the lint reduction, but 8% didn't notice a difference
Using a wet towel can help release loose wool fibers.
When I tried using the dryer balls on dark clothes, they came out with lint.
Dryer balls fluff up towels and sheets, but do not reduce drying time. The static cling left behind is awful.
89% praised the long-lasting performance
My daughter loves the dryer balls. They're awesome for staying ahead of the curve with our family of 5 and daily loads of wash.
I have been using wool dryer balls for 2 months and am happy with the results, indicating good longevity.
84% praised for reducing dryer noise, but 16% didn't
I noticed that the plastic dryer balls made a terrible noise in the dryer. However, I found that this product did not make any noise while drying my clothes. My clothes dry quickly.
Rephrased: The plastic dryer balls made a terrible noise in the dryer, but I found that they didn't make any noise while drying my clothes. They also dry quickly.
While the dryer is running, the wool balls make clunking noises.
I have found that the dryer-balls help with faster drying, but there is still a lot of static.
The dryer balls caused an awful static cling and the clothes would snap and pop as I removed them from the dryer.
91% were impressed with the odor 9% weren't
I was initially worried about the smell of wet wool coming out of my laundry, but I have not found any strange smells. I have also not found stray wool threads in my laundry. Based on my experience, the control board is easy to use with many options and presets.
I added a few drops of essential oils to the dryer balls for a scent.
I haven't used fabric softener for over 30 years because my family is sensitive to the smell.
92% liked the softening ability, but 8% didn't
Clothes dry quickly and there is no noise.
I am disappointed with the softening ability of the dryer balls. I compared them with the plastic/spiked dryer balls and felt that the latter was slightly better at softening.
93% liked the static reduction, but 7% experienced issues
I like the dryer balls so far but still have a lot of static. I need to figure out the drying times.
I have not used dryer sheets for 2 months and bought wool dryer balls to give to my family members and take on camping trips.
I found that the dryer balls did not reduce static cling and it was awful. Things would snap and pop as I removed them from the dryer.
After using the dryer balls, my towels came out with static.
I recommend drying the dryer balls with a wet towel a few times before use to prevent loose wool fibers from shedding onto the laundry. The wet towel helps to release the fibers.
I refresh the wool balls with oil every three to four loads of laundry and let them rest a bit before using. This shows that the wool balls are easy to clean and can be easily refreshed.
I added essential oil to the balls for a subtle scent that I personally enjoy. The oil is made from pure plant oils, not manmade, allergy inducing garbage.
I was disappointed that the dryer balls did not come with a cotton bag for storage, as stated on one of the listings images.
