About Woolite 2 Pack Dryer Balls, 2.5 inches, Assorted
Overall Feedback:
78% positive
71% found it easy to clean, but 29% encountered difficulties
I wish the dryer balls wouldn't cling to the laundry when I empty the dryer.
73% praised the lint reduction
Using several balls in the dryer helps me to keep clothes separated and speeds up the drying time.
These dryer balls are a better replacement to the white fabric ones I used before.
74% praised the long-lasting performance, but 26% desired more
I am unsure about the longevity of the dryer-balls, but I am satisfied with their performance so far and think they are a good value.
I have been using the dryer balls for over 5 weeks now and they get tossed around in my dryer pretty much non stop every single day.
The dryer balls worked well for roughly a year until one split.
The balls are made with thin plastic and collapse with a bit of weight, causing the nubs to easily break off.
62% praised for reducing dryer noise, but 38% didn't
The dryer balls are a bit noisy when the dryer is first started, but they are not heard anymore once they get incorporated with the clothes.
I have complained that the dryer balls are hard and make a loud noise when the dryer is running, but after warming up for about 5 minutes, they become softer and the sound reduces.
65% were impressed with the odor
I quickly got used to the absence of the manufactured sweet smell produced by chemicals.
77% liked the softening ability, but 23% didn't
The dryer balls work really well for cotton clothing, especially denim clothing, bath towels, bed linens, and mattresses. I am amazed that the little spikey balls actually soften cotton items especially.
Dryer balls work really well.
Dryer balls work better for softening than wool balls.
The dryer balls barely soften sweaters, which is the brand's focus, and not khakis or jeans.
73% liked the static reduction
The main attraction for me is not having to use any kind of dryer sheet. I'm living on a fixed income and need to cut every cost I can.
I suggest keeping the doors open between loads to let the washer and dryer dry out and using dryer balls to keep the laundry smelling normal without overly scented dryer sheets.
