The drop cloth has very little adhesive on the bottom and is not heavy duty, similar to Saran Wrap.

I recommend the three-foot-wide version of the protective film as it provides enough clearance to avoid hitting the carpet and floors. The two-foot-wide version would require two pieces to be put together for a four-foot-wide pathway, which is unnecessary.
I had a better experience with a thicker and easier to control product from another manufacturer.
