Overall Feedback:
88% positive
84% praised the strong adhesive, while 16% found it lacked
The adhesive quality of the drop cloth was poor. It did not stay sealed in the areas where it was tucked in.
The glue is very strong but difficult to unwrap and folds easily, then sticks together.
The product is far too adhesive and wrapped backwards with sticky side out, making it almost impossible to use.
I doubt the durability of the plastic sheeting and its adhesive, it may not last long.
84% liked the generous coverage, but 16% found it small
Cleaning cat urine on the protective film is 100 times easier than cleaning the carpet because the film is waterproof.
I bought this product to protect my area rug and hall carpet during a Christmas dinner with kids and grandkids.
The material can stick to itself if the end is not held while unrolling.
79% found it easy to handle and maneuver, but 21% struggled
It is difficult to cover the flooring alone.
81% liked its high tear strength, but 19% found it prone to tears
The sheeting had great adhesion to the carpet and did not rip even when we made many trips with carts.
The plastic sheeting we used was thick and durable enough to withstand multiple trips up and down the stairs during the bathroom renovation. It also held up well against falling tile pieces.
The product lasted through all the work in my 12' high room, including removal of 3 layers of wallpaper, plaster repair, wall texturizing, 3 coats of paint on the ceiling, and 2 coats of paint on the crown molding and woodwork. It's super strong.
The product is difficult to handle and loosens almost immediately, even with help.
76% praised the thickness, while 24% found it thin
The plastic was thick and it withstood many trips up and down the stairs after tearing out a bathroom.
The plastic sheeting is thick enough to resist penetration, even at the seams.
The plastic sheeting is very thin and has already torn in a couple of places.
77% appreciated the water resistance, yet 23% experienced leaks
The air conditioner blew out from under the door and got under the protector, causing it to 'blow up'.
I noticed that the film was floating loose above the carpet the day after I put it down. This indicates that the film is not water resistant.
The film is not water resistant as it was floating loose above the carpet the day after I put it down.
67% praised the wind resistance, though 33% didn't
I noticed that the air conditioner would blow out from under the door and got under the protector causing it to 'blow up'.
The air conditioner blew out from under the door and got under the protector causing it to 'blow up'.
The adhesive is so strong that I had to hold the carpet down while removing the sheeting.
