About Prismacolor Ebony Graphite Pencils, Black Drawing Pencil Set
91% liked the easy blending, but 9% found it difficult
The pencils have a thick core and work well for shading and blending.
The pencil reflects light like ordinary graphite pencils, which is its downside.
87% praised the lead quality, but 13% experienced breakage
The pencil comes out smoothly, is easy to blend, and stays on the paper better. It is also not overly messy. I found it way easier than woodless.
Three of my pencils were unusable because they were broken internally.
I noticed that the pencil reflects light just like ordinary graphite pencils.
92% appreciated the line consistency, though 8% didn't
If I have a lighter hand and great control on pulling lighter shading out for long stretches, I won't need many more pencils than this one.
Three out of four pencils are broken internally and unusable.
93% found it easy to sharpen, but 7% had trouble
My pencil handles sharpening well and stays well. I almost enjoy it more than my Pentel mechanical pencil.
Sharpening the opposite end sometimes solves the problem, but not always.
My only complaint is that the large graphite core can be difficult to sharpen sometimes and tends to break easily.
I feel like I am spending more time sharpening the pencils than drawing as they do not sharpen well at all.

I love this pencil. It is a very dark grey color, comes out smooth, and is easy to blend, making it easier to use than a woodless pencil.
I did not mention anything about the color accuracy of the pencils.
I compared the feel of the two pencils and found that Prismacolor feels softer while Sanford has a good amount of smoothness.
I compared the Sanford pencil with Prismacolor pencil and found that Sanford pencil does not shed much graphite while Prismacolor noticeably does.

81% found it durable, but 19% experienced tip breakage
I can sharpen the pencil well with a good sharpener and it stays sharp.
I advise not to drop pencils as the graphite can fracture the length of the pencil, leaving only a nub.
Sometimes the large graphite core can be difficult to sharpen and tends to break easily, resulting in loss of usable pencil length.
I found the pencils to be fragile and had to go through the entire box to finish one piece.
