About Kalour Premium Colored Pencils,Set of 120 Colors
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
97% liked the easy blending, but 3% found it difficult
I don't need to use baby oil to blend like oil pastels, and these are my favorite colored pencils now.
Pencils that cause pain are not my preference.
80% found it durable, but 20% experienced tip breakage
I have been able to sharpen the pencils to a small point and the tips did not break off, indicating their durability.
I have not faced any problems with sharpening, dust, or blending, indicating that the pencils are durable.
The pencils I use are nice and durable enough to take to work without fear of breaking if dropped.
After sharpening, I found that 8 out of 10 pencils no longer work and break immediately when sharpened again. I can only sharpen them halfway to get them to work, which is useless when I need a fine tip.
82% found it easy to sharpen, but 18% had trouble
I was able to sharpen the pencils to a small point without the tips breaking off, indicating ease in sharpening.
The sharpener has 2 metal sharpening ports to choose from.
After sharpening, 8 out of 10 pencils stopped working.
86% were impressed with the color accurcy, though 14% weren't
In normal light, I can't tell some of the colors apart as they are too similar.
I was disappointed to find that one of the pencils was broken and the name and number on another pencil were not highlighted in white like the rest.
I realize that there are not enough colors, but I am coming from a spoiled viewpoint.
81% praised the lead quality, but 19% experienced breakage
I have noticed that some pencils have spots where the lead is not solid, causing them to crumble when sharpened.
I keep experiencing lead breakage with multiple blue pencils (True Blue, Azure, and Deep Sky Blue). Additionally, I have to constantly sharpen the pencil due to the lead breaking.
I am used to having multiple sets of different quality brands at my disposal, so I feel that these pencils are slightly waxy without deep color.
I found the pencils to have a smooth lay down and great blending capability.
