About KALOUR 180 Colored Pencil Set for Adults Artists kids
75% found it durable, but 25% experienced tip breakage
I have found that the pencil cores are break-resistant and can withstand harder pressure for burnishing without any breakage.
Some of the colors are breaking and it has not even been a week since I received it.
I have used many colored pencils, but this one is the most brittle.
76% liked the comfortable grip, but 24% found it small
I find the pencils comfortable to grip and hold. They layer beautifully over alcohol based markers and enhance the blend.
The tips of my pencils break often and tend to break again after sharpening, as if the lead is broken throughout the pencil.
86% liked the easy blending
I have found that these pencils blend beautifully without any solvents or aids. I can sharpen them into a fine tip and still blend over a section with wax bloom without destroying the tooth of the paper while actually showing up.
Castle Arts pencils are more effective for blending and laying down smoothly.
79% were impressed with the color accurcy, though 21% weren't
I like the selection of colors and the color tips are mostly fairly accurate with a couple exceptions.
I am disappointed with the metallic pencils as they are too dark and do not look metallic.
77% praised the lead quality, but 23% experienced breakage
I find that the lead is thicker and lays down nicely.
When I sharpen the lead, it falls out or won't sharpen due to poor quality wood.
I am dissatisfied with the lead quality of the colored pencil. It is the most brittle one I have ever used and I will not be purchasing it again.
I had to warm a few pencils to get the lead stuck together after they broke while sharpening.

76% appreciated the line consistency, though 24% didn't
I suggest that the issue with the coloring pencils might be due to the paper being used.
If I want to blend and practice different techniques, I have to sharpen my pencils a bit which will wear them down a bit quicker, especially for larger spaces. Based on my experience, I can say that sharpening pencils frequently is necessary.
76% found it easy to sharpen, but 24% had trouble
While sharpening, the tips/core break, making it impossible to sharpen the pencils.
The leads of the colored pencils break almost instantly, even in the pencil sharpener, and break off in the pencil box before they can be used. Additionally, the leads are brittle.
Most of our money and pencils end up in the pencil sharpener, indicating that the sharpening process is not easy or convenient.
