About Ohuhu Glitter Markers Pen 12 Glitter Colors Metallic Marker
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
84% appreciated its blendability, but 16% weren't satisfied
If I press down too hard or go over the same place twice, the pens eat up the paper.
I had to press down hard to color in the smallest of places, resulting in higher color concentration in those areas, indicating poor blendability of the markers.
84% liked the ink consistency, but 16% didn't
I had to press down hard to color in small areas, resulting in higher color concentration. This indicates that the ink consistency of the markers was not good.
Sometimes I need to press down the marker tip several times to pump in more ink, which can be considered a drawback of the product.
85% appreciated its longevity, however, 15% were disappointed
The tips of the markers dried out quickly and I couldn't even finish the smallest area.
The ink consistency of these drawing-markers is not entirely as expected. Most of the inks wash out with a silvery over-layer, blue and red require multiple layers to even show, and white goes on clear at first before slowly drying into white, making it difficult to be accurate with it.
After using the markers for about a month, the tips degraded really bad to the point where I can't use half of them because it's a pain to get them to actually color.
I noticed that the colors are unbalanced between light and dark colors. There are only 5-6 colors that are light enough to give a decent gradation and all of them are still closer to being midtones. The overall sketches I colored are very saturated, and using the colorless blender to pull away color for highlights gave very mixed results.
