I have arthritis in my hands and can't use many art implements for long, but these crayons don't need much pressure for a thick coat of color.

These gel sticks can be layered over watercolor or each other and blended with water if desired, allowing me to achieve a variety of effects.
When trying to blend colors, the crayons leave a smudged mess and do not blend well on the page.
