I find the tablet useless as it does not allow customization of shortcut buttons.
93% praised the drawing accuracy, while 7% experienced some lag
I have a drawing tablet that has more features than a cheaper entry-level drawing tablet, although it's not a Cintiq.
The surface has just the right amount of friction, providing accuracy while sculpting larger forms or smaller details.
I found the strokes on the drawing tablet to be ranging from barely there to dark and bold, which met my expectations.
The precision is not 100% as commanded by WACOM products, but it is still 99% accurate on pixels, which is more than enough for me and it is a good tradeoff for the price.
86% praised the durable construction, but 14% faced issues
I have used cheaper tablets for over a decade, which is a sign of durability. While the quality of the product is great on the short term, one should look elsewhere for longevity.
90% liked the portable design
The tablet works perfectly on both Windows and macOS.
89% appreciated the pressure sensitivity, though 11% didn't
My new tablet has vastly better pressure sensitivity and size than my old one.
The pressure sensitivity of the tablet is great. I can get strokes ranging from barely there to dark and bold, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
I have complained about the pressure sensitivity of the tablet. It is difficult to get a feather thin line and the pressure sensitivity is hit or miss. The tablet also drops the maximum pressure line every now and then, which requires me to constantly undo the last stroke.
87% praised the high-resolution
I recommend getting a tablet with high resolution, high sensitivity, and a size closest to regular paper for a good experience.
After using the Huion tablet for the first time, I felt like it was a breath of fresh air and I no longer notice segmented letters. This shows that I have personally experienced the resolution of the tablet and am satisfied with it.
I can tilt the pen to create shading like drawing with a pencil on paper.
I did not mention anything about the tablet's resolution.
88% liked the tilt recognition, while 12% experienced glitches
I can tilt my pen on the tablet to create shading that resembles pencil on paper.
The tablet lacks tilt sensing, which is a drawback. However, since it is much cheaper than a Wacom tablet, I was willing to overlook this issue.
I prefer non-weighted pens because they cause less fatigue and this pen is battery-less.
