About UGEE M708 10 x 6 inch Large Drawing Tablet with 8 Hot Keys
88% appreciated the battery life
The tablet is lightweight, responds well, and shipped quickly.
91% praised the seamless compatibility, while 9% experienced issues
I have used the tablet with multiple software without any issues as it plugs and plays with ease.
I used this tablet in Clip Studio Paint and initially faced a problem where the cursor froze for a moment after lifting the pen at the end of the stroke. I found out that this issue was due to having set 200 undo levels and dropping it down cleared that up.
88% appreciated the customizable options, but 12% found them limited
I can customize screen proportions and shortcuts for the buttons in the program.
I can easily customize any button on the stylus or tablet, including keys, buttons, and actions per application.
I had to download the driver and additional software to customize the buttons on the pad. However, there was very little clear documentation on the official website about what software would be downloaded, what it would actually do, and why.
89% praised the drawing accuracy, while 11% experienced some lag
If your primary objective is to achieve smooth lines that are unachievable through other means, then this tablet is a necessity.
As a user, I noticed that the drawing pad starts drawing as soon as I touch it. It would be helpful to have a button to initialize the drawing/writing, especially for beginners.
This tablet is the best one I am currently using and much more convenient than a mouse for painting.
I did not mention the drawing accuracy of the tablet.
88% praised the durable construction, but 12% faced issues
The tablet is great and cheap. It lets me draw like the wacom series, but I hear a lot of scratching due to the hard surface.
The tablet is very light and can flex with enough effort.
I will not give the product a 5 star review because it does not provide good control and is not properly weighted.
87% liked the portable design, though 13% found it bulky
It is easy to use and plug and play, indicating that the tablet is portable and easy to carry around.
I find the tablet's portability disappointing due to the Micro USB connection. It's surprising that it's not USB-C and the connector sticks out about 1-1/2 in since it isn't angled.
While carrying the tablet around, it could be a problem if it doesn't fit with the standard USB cable and remains unsteady.
92% appreciated the pressure sensitivity
I found the stylus to be very sensitive and didn't bottom out while sketching even with pressure applied. During pressure calibration, I was surprised to find that leaving it along the midline worked well for me.
The tablet has many great features and as many pressure points as a top of the line pen.
90% praised the high-resolution
The tablet works well, but its price is beyond reasonable.
I found the tablet easy to work with and liked the glove that came with it.
86% liked the tilt recognition
I compared the sensitivity levels of Wacom sensors with the UGEE 10x6 tablet and found that the latter has a higher sensitivity range and does not bottom out easily.
