I left the doorbell sound on the regular setting and adjusted the volume to a level that works best for me. It's a little lower than half the volume. I had a positive experience with the sound quality of the door-bell-kits.
I preferred the regular doorbell sound and left it on.
The doorbell kit's volume is very low and even when turned all the way up, it is not audible while in the bathroom or doing laundry. This could be problematic for elderly people with hearing difficulties.
I want my doorbell to sound like a traditional doorbell and not like a phone ringtone.
