I would choose V3 Standard over V3 Pro in an environment exposed to direct rain or harsher elements due to the lack of water resistance adaptor in V3 Pro.
The Wyze Cam V3 Pro doesn't come with a water-resistant cable, which is a notable downside.

To have access to taking alert videos, I need a 3.99 a month service, and the cool down time is set at 5 minutes, which cannot be changed unless I buy the service. This feature can be problematic, i.e., if the alarm goes off for the postman and a murderer comes by in less than 5 minutes, the camera will not alert.

I found the installation process to be a severe challenge with constant complaints. After 10 minutes, I was pretty fed up and ready to give up, but then I heard it finally say 'connected.'

The motion sensitivity of this camera is the worst I have seen on any camera. It can detect cats and people fine, but the accuracy is not up to the mark.
The motion detection is not accurate as it detects color change. For instance, every time a car drives past at night and lights up part of my driveway, a motion event is captured.
