I can remotely scan multiple stalls in the barn, which allows me to check on the health and status of the animals anytime. This feature has been helpful for me and I have recommended the system to another farm owner.

I had a bad experience with an older model of Reolink camera outside, which was not weatherproof enough and got ruined due to rainwater. I then purchased this model, which is better sealed and has better weather resistance.

I have noticed that the motion detection accuracy of dome-surveillance-cameras needs improvement as it burns out the memory card on the slightest wind noise. I also wish to turn it off. The person detection is fairly good, although it often fails to track people going under the camera.

I have paired the camera with a 256gb card and plan to purchase an NVR in the future. The camera does not have cloud storage, only the track mix LTE 4G version allows for it.

I faced difficulty in installing the micro SD card as the screws were torqued down so hard that I could not get either of them undone. The screws were tiny and recessed into the body of the 'bulb' of the camera housing, and the only way they are coming out is with a drill.

This model is a better option than the older one due to improved night vision, PTZ, and object detection features.
