The dollhouse design is not painted on and is more like cheap paper glued on wood. It may wear off or tear in time. Considering the price, quality supplies should have been used.

As parents, our favorite part is having limited pieces. The keys are attached with a ribbon so we can't lose them. We also love that the chimes are very soft and not loud or annoying.
