I have experienced issues with traditional rawhide. It is made up of small pieces and molded together, and shrinks to about half its size when it is dried. This can cause blockage and lack of digestibility, resulting in a negative experience.
I found that the rawhide roll lasted for a few days and my dog even hid it around the house. However, when he got down to the last two pieces and took one to the floor with him, it got lodged in his throat and he started choking. I had to struggle to get it out. This shows that the durability of the rawhide roll is not up to the mark, as it caused choking hazard to my dog.
