My bowls are lightweight and sturdy with the help of the holder. The design is helpful as my kitten continuously moves its bowls.
I ordered five different dish/stand combos and this one is a clear winner for me. Most stands take up too much space, but this one barely takes up any and even leaves enough clearance for the refrigerator door to pass over it. The other wire stands I ordered were not even close to this quality, with sloppy welds and inconsistencies throughout that prevent them from sitting correctly. This stand has clean lines and welds and the molded feet are of much higher quality than the others which just came with plastic sleeves.
