About Dr. Buzby's Large ToeGrips for Dogs
66% liked the improved grip traction, but 34% found them slippery on ice
The toe grips help my dog grip surfaces and make him feel like a gazelle, running and jumping on the deck and home tile and wood surfaces. They are good for his balance and traction.
I have complained that the grips are not sticky enough and can be easily dislodged while walking, rendering them useless. The grips are easily dislodged while walking, making them useless.
64% praised for their paw-fect comfort, while 36% found them irritating
I am concerned about the comfort and safety of the dog-paw-protectors, as the rubber bands can push against the sensitive skin around the nail, causing discomfort and potentially leading to irritation or even infection.
I am having trouble with my dog's rear hips splaying outwards while she struggles, crawls and spins to get back on all four.
63% praised for their stylish design, while 37% found them unattractive
I found that the design of the toe grips is essentially rubber bands that fit around the dog's nails.
65% praised for their long-lasting durability, while 35% found them prone to cracking
The grips are not durable and do not stay on for long. The dog was able to easily dislodge them while walking, rendering them useless.
The durability of the dog-paw-protectors is not good. Some of them lasted only a couple of days or weeks, and some fell off in the house or outside and were never found again. I also found that the ones I found could not be reused because the abrasion wore them down on one side making them much thinner and weaker and they would just fall right off again.
62% liked the easy cleaning
I soaked the dog-paw-protectors in rubbing alcohol and they have been on for over 3 weeks and still going strong.
65% found them easy to put on and take off, while 35% had difficulties
After using the dog-paw-protectors for a month, I am satisfied with the product as they have improved my dog's traction and have not come off during walks, swimming or in the yard. My dog ignores them, which is a good sign.
The application process may seem tedious at first, but with repeated use, it becomes easy.
It's not easy to find and requires patience to pick them up and put them back on from day to day.
65% appreciated the excellent protection, though 35% found them ineffective against rough surfaces
I found the product better than expected, but a few have come off right away.
I have concerns about the comfort and safety of the toe grips. They can push against the sensitive skin around the nail, causing discomfort and potentially leading to irritation or even infection.
63% like the perfect size and fit, but 37% found it small
After about a month, the first pair of red ones were slightly too loose and fell off. So, I bought the size down (yellow) and the groomer said they were a much better fit and stayed on.
The x-large size fits my front nails perfectly but is a bit too small for my back nails.
