The toe grips help my dog grip surfaces and make him feel like a gazelle, running and jumping on the deck and home tile and wood surfaces. They are good for his balance and traction.

The grips are not durable and do not stay on for long. The dog was able to easily dislodge them while walking, rendering them useless.
The durability of the dog-paw-protectors is not good. Some of them lasted only a couple of days or weeks, and some fell off in the house or outside and were never found again. I also found that the ones I found could not be reused because the abrasion wore them down on one side making them much thinner and weaker and they would just fall right off again.
