I was skeptical about this brush because it looked like razors that would dig too deep. However, I found that this brush is easy to use and it allows me to be more careful while brushing my dog, without hurting his skin and skimming over the bony spots lightly.
The rake may look scary and painful, but it is actually comfortable to use.
I was able to remove a large amount of hair with minimal effort and my dog seemed to enjoy it.
This brush is highly effective, easy to use, and glides through the coat easily. It doesn't pull normal coat hairs but easily removes loose undercoat and shedding hairs, making the dog lay patiently while being brushed.

I have noticed that the rake requires frequent removal of clumps, but it still manages to get the undercoat and some of the knots.

The grooming speed of the rake is good, but it tugs the hair a bit. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. However, it does not hurt my dog. My dog gives me a funny look.
