I got an XL size for my dog and it fits perfectly, although it's a little baggy in the belly. I'm not surprised since my dog is Doberman shaped.
I followed the advice to size up if I am in between sizes and it was the right choice. The jacket fits comfortably with plenty of room for my dog to go potty without making a mess of the jacket.
The XS size of the coat fits my dog perfectly, except for a little extra length over the tail which can be easily pulled up.
I ordered the wrong size but am grateful for the snug fit.
