The toy is durable and has held up well, but it sheds slightly. Despite this issue, I still recommend the toy.

The toy was loved by our dogs but not durable enough for their strong grip/bite. They were able to tear off part of the toy to get stuffing out with squeaker then lost interest. It is better for smaller dogs as far as durability, chew proof and sturdiness are concerned.
