About Dog Toy Pet Stages Cool Teething Stick
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
84% found different sizes helpful
The toys are perfect size for my 2 month old toy poodle.
The toy's size is smaller than expected, but it did not affect my puppy's enjoyment. It is around 8-10 inches in length and the color is true to the picture.
76% felt the toy was safe, but 24% worried
The chew toy poses a choking hazard and is unsafe.
76% found the toy easy to clean
I clean my dog's chew toys by throwing them in the washer with other toys and a safe, non-toxic laundry soap. Then, I soak them in vinegar, toss in baking soda, scrub them, and rinse them well.
The toy is super easy to clean and can be put in the freezer for a cold toy for a teething puppy without making a mess.
81% appreciated the toy's durability
The ribbon on my toy hasn't held up as well as the fabric, but it still ranks high in durability compared to other toys.
79% enjoyed the varied chew textures, whereas 21% didn't
I have noticed that the toy has a good chew texture as it has lasted several weeks without being shredded.
I am impressed that the toy's material is fairly soft rubbery and it is holding up to my dog's chewing.
The chew texture is not suitable for me as I tend to pull on the threads and try to ingest it.
The vet recommended that dog toys should flex when they bite down to avoid any harm to their teeth. This toy flexes when my dog bites down, so I don't worry about his teeth breaking.
The chew toy is not recommended for aggressive chewers. Our 80 lb Pitt Bull chewed off tiny pieces within the first 30 minutes of playing with it.
