The top opening in this carrier makes it easy for me to place my cat inside and zip up before an escape can occur. The ample mesh gives my cat plenty of visibility, and she doesn't seem to feel trapped like in the hard plastic carrier. When it's time for her to leave the carrier, the sides that zip open make her exit super easy.
I love the backpack because it's easy to get a cat in and out. As a vet assistant, I know how important it is to have that feature. The backpack has both sides that can be opened, which is awesome.
