The sides of my dog bed are nicely padded and can be removed for washing. I suggest washing it on delicate and air drying it. The zips make it easy to access the padded sides.
I was able to easily clean the car upholstery after dealing with the poop incident. It was a gross task to spray it down before washing it but it turned out to be good as new after cleaning.
