The bed cover is made of soft, luxurious and washable suede-like fabric.
95% appreciated its durability, yet 5% found it wore out quickly.
The dog bed is durable enough to withstand untrimmed toenails to a good degree, but not likely to withstand extended chewing.
The bed's durability is a big problem. After just 3 or 4 times of using it, there were signs of wear in the cover and a couple of rips appeared in it. I had to put a bed sheet over it to make it last longer.
