Both pairs of dish cloths are soft and the striped pair is thin but very absorbent and dries quickly.
I am disappointed with the absorbency of the dish cloths/dish towels. They are not absorbent at all.
I was expecting dish towels to be more absorbent, but they felt like a shammy cloth and only absorbed wetness from my hands while preparing meals.
Two pairs of dish-cloths-dish-towels are not absorbent at all and one of them is so thin that it makes it useless for picking up a hot handle or baking sheet without hurting yourself.

After several months of using the dish towels, I am impressed with how little wear and tear they show despite frequent use throughout the day.
After washing the towels with other towels, I noticed pulled threads and had to cut them off. I am disappointed with their durability.

The towel fabric is made from 100% cotton and has good absorption straight out of the bag.
Two of our dish towels have material similar to cheap t-shirt material, which is not suitable for dish towels.
The towels are very thin and become transparent when wet. Both the terry and woven towels have snags and shed fibers in the machine tub.
Our dish cloths/towels have poor quality and get holes and seams falling apart within 6 months of use.

These dish towels dry relatively fast, especially if you spread them out over your oven door handle.
The striped pair is absorbent and dries quickly. I have used it personally, making this an experience-rich sentence.
For drying hands in the kitchen, I was not looking for a hanging towel that might be suitable for drying dishes.

After using them for 2 weeks, I am pleased with the size of the towels, especially when drying pots and pans.
The towels are larger than the average kitchen size and it is probably the only issue I have with them.
