I ordered this product after another splitter had issues with cable locking into the TV port.
I have a device with 3 outputs for optical audio devices and a single input.
The device works well and the sound quality from TV into a high end 2 channel system was as expected. I did not test it with vs without the splitter, but there were no issues with sound quality.
When both my devices were on, there was a slight delay in the audio signal to my hearing aids.
